Dear Colleguaes we evaluated this new Medium Cut-Off (MCO) dialyzer in terms of removal rate and we compared it to our previous study on HDF online. Our results showed a HD treatments woth MCO dialyzer equivalent to HDF online in terms of removal rate for both small and medium-sized molecules (beta2-m, myoglobin), without changing in albumin level. Could HD with MCO membrane be a new treatment for ESRD?
